Our Winner? The PS4 Pro

On paper, the Xbox One X has the better specs but we found the PS4 Pro to have the better graphics output (just). But if you are VR gaming fan, then the PS4 Pro is the best option for you becasue the Xbox One X doesn’t currently support VR gaming.

Graphics and hardware performance are quite similare between the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, so the final decision is likely to come down to which games you prefer and each gaming console has their unique range of exclusives.

For us here at Product Versus, we favor the likes of Unchartered and The Last Of Us on the PS4 – and that’s the major reason we give the PS4 Pro the win in the head to head comparison. However, we also love some of the Xbox One X exclusives like Gears Of War and Forza – so at the end of the day, why not get both?

At Product Versus, we’ve tried to make the Xbox Series X vs. PS5 comparison as simple as possible – but at this stage, until we get our hands on some test models of the Xbox Series X and PS5, our comparison comes down to product specs but we’ll keep our readers updated as soon as we get to perform a hand-on test.

Xbox Series X vs. PS5 Specs Comparison

Xbox Series X vs. PS5 Winner? TBD

On paper, the Xbox Series X has the better performance and graphics specs, but until we get the test both gaming consoles first hand, it’s unknown if this will actually mean the performance and graphics output is better than the PS5.

Both the Xbox Series X and PS5 will have levels of backwards compatibility and both are expected to be around the $500 price range – which seems like good value for money with the performance on offer.

Just like the previous generation of gaming consoles (Xbox One X vs. PS4 Pro), your decision is likely to come down to which console has the better exclusive games. If you’re a Halo fan, then you’ll surely want the Xbox Series X; while if you’re an Assassins Creed fan, then you’ll surely want the PS5.

Or, you can be like us and be a fan of both gaming consoles and get both!
